No one in the cast is acting in this film. We portrayed a variety of creators and influencers having fun with things they actually like: sneakers, rugby, insects, etc. Instagram-worthy or not, they are genuinely enjoying what they love. With energetic and engaging editing, the cast interacts in a ping-pong style with VO who admires their passion for what they love and encourages them.
Shy and hesitant to express their true feelings - this is no exception on how Japanese people use Instagram. As symbolized by the word “Insta-bae(Instagrammable in Japanese)”, Instagram in Japan was recognized as a self-conscious SNS where users need to worry about what others think of them. This is because Japanese people have very low self-esteem compared to other countries(Japan's score in the top box is about 1/6 that of the U.S. and less than 1/3 that of Korea.), and this has become a barrier for them to focus on their own interests on the platform. In order to change the perception of Instagram as a platform where people can freely pursue their own "love," we wanted to send out a message that affirms and supports the pursuit of one's true love, whatever it may be, and help the younger generation to have self-esteem.
Our aim is to change the perception and to encourage and affirm every single person who wants to pursue what he/she loves whether trending or not along with the music. With the intention of expressing and embracing the variety of love, we have created a collage of sounds by juxtaposing ideas that are existing in totally different worlds by combining new and old. In Japan, where remix culture has taken root, this music is designed to sound rather new to the younger generation with a hint of sounds that are somewhat familiar to them. Our music evolves and interacts with people with various love through the film to inspire them. Responding to a call from the narrator who actually is a rapper, the beatbox continues to interact with the sounds that represent various love, developing a story that affirms and encourages every love.
