The film opens with the vampire who wakes up after 100 years only to realise that his empty house needed setting up from scratch. The story unfolds his need to furnish his home in one go and the challenges that come with it.

Cultural / Context information for the jury

We have taken a 'Vampire’ from a European folklore and placed him a modern-day Indian city. His century old original house which is representational of his old ways of life is in shambles. He now wants to delve in instant gratification and wants to do up his house and his life. While the modern day prices give him a scare, he discovers the service and the product line offered and becomes hip and cool. He comes in terms of the times today and ends up becoming a pop icon – a modern day Lifestyle Influencer. This is his story.

It was a challenge to create the look of the Vampire without making him scary. So we made him vulnerable - like a teenager who delves in instant gratification and many insecurities. This way we managed to create empathy for the character. Once the character was defined, rest of the journey was to create a journey of his space from a century old run down house to a modern house with modern amenities. His so-called modern day resurrection. Layered vampire nuances, texture, tone and music all came together to help build this vampire resurrection story.
