This fast-paced ad for solar financing company, Brighte, explores the excitement, energy and joy of bringing the sun home – right here, right now. We open on a closeup of the sun. Moving back we see it’s floating in a living room as the strings in an adaptation of Fatboy Slim’s Right Here Right Now build. The sun leaps into action, powering a variety of homes and lifestyles, as the lyrics kick in with “Brighte Here Brighte Now”
Brighte wanted to launch its first B2C product, 0% interest on solar, with a bang. It wasn’t just about solar, it was about getting solar right now. We needed our audience to feel the endless energy and excitement the technology could bring them today, while avoiding the green cliches of environmentally-friendly brands. As the previously B2B brand was unknown to consumers, we needed to build familiarity very quickly, and make people take notice. Using an adaptation of Fatboy Slim’s Right Here Right Now, we launched Brighte with the powerful energy the eco company deserved. The song introduced the product, hyped the brand, built trust, injected energy and got the campaign stuck in heads.
We knew music was the key to the campaign’s energy, and there was only one song that could really deliver the feeling, messaging and excitement. In an epic feat of licensing, we were delighted to hear that Norman Cook was strongly eco-minded, and threw his support behind our project. With the help of the talented team at Squeak E. Clean Studios, we created ‘Brighte Here, Brighte Now’, our take on the timeless classic. It was the right song at the right time, and was our lynchpin for the entire campaign. INCREASED BRAND LOVE The familiarity of the tune helped us warm the audience to an unknown brand. MAKING BRIGHTE A STAR The lyrics championed the brand name, Brighte, delivering it into the heads of Australians. This small tweak became a recognisable and powerful brand asset.
