Write a short summary of what happens in the film

A walk down the history of buyer behaviour in post-independence India, this film is a light-hearted nudge to all fellow Indians to pause that one all-pervasive habit that we just refuse to change - bargaining hard till the last Rupee! While generations change, our preferences change, technology changes, but the one thing that stays the same is the irrepressible Indian urge to bargain. The film highlights the doldrums that the pandemic threw our small businesses in, and finally urges people to pause the bargaining habit so our small businesses can get back on their feet.

Please tell us about the social behaviour that inspired the work

India has changed a lot over the decades, but we Indians haven't changed a bit when it comes to our tenacity for bargaining hard. Be it for an air conditioner or a paper clip. Axis Bank chose this insight to goad for a behaviour change towards the small shop owners, who had suffered a massive blow during the pandemic imposed lockdown. By using self-deprecating lyrics and a catchy Bollywood-ish tune, this work makes an appeal for change in a deeply engrained behaviour, delivering a very relevant message in a way that's entertaining yet calls for introspection.
