Write a short summary of what happens in the film

Our 30sec film celebrates work that was made here on Australian soil, by Australian creators, behind the Mac, in the first ever Australian expression of our global Behind the Mac platform. It features black and white found images of Australian designers, musicians, writers, actors and film-makers who use Mac as part of their creative process, alongside colourful output they create. Some of the talent are household names, some are up-and-coming stars in their field. The Made In copy used throughout the film calls out exactly where in Australia the work was made. The film is set to a track by local artist Kwame.

Please tell us how the work was designed / adapted for a single country / region / market

To prove Mac is the most powerful device for creative minds, we found evidence (images, footage) of our top creators using Mac and asked them to be in the first ever Australian expression of our global Behind the Mac platform. Our 30sec film featured 25 Australian designers, musicians, writers, actors and film-makers from every corner of the country. Some were household names, some were up-and-coming stars in their field. Alongside their image, we featured the colourful output our creators made with their Mac, and called out with the Made In copy exactly where in Australia the work was made. The track by local artist Kwame, with lyrics “Now can taking over, going global, I’m a mogul, flying coastal” celebrated the Australian creative communities ability to produce world-class work, while, “I still charge up my opal, Sydney city imma local” brings local pride and connection to the audience.
