Kaze Fujii, a popular Japanese artist, sings as he walks through the city. After the 30-second commercial, he moves on to the next channel. Walking and singing in the streets, calling out to people the importance of individuality The story of the commercial and a never-before-seen way of watching it, following him across the channels, reminds us of the theme of the song and the concept of the launched Google PIxel 6 the importance of individuality.
In Japan, the five terrestrial TV stations are very major and they basically do not change the existing rules. Also, the target audience does not want to watch TV commercials, so there is a culture to zap. Against this backdrop, we took the opposite approach to zapping, and challenged the first ever measure to cross the five major channels, which was considered difficult to do. Also, this summer, one of the biggest music festivals in Japan was canceled due to Covid-19, and the fever for live music events was growing.
A TV commercial where you can experience a series of stories while zapping and chasing after Kaze Fujii as he moves through 5 different TV channels. Thousands of Kaze’s fans “zapping” away in front of their TVs, all at same time, can share a real interactive live show experience. Once all commercials have been played on the 5 channels, Kaze Fujii is zapped from the TV and onto YouTube, for the release of his music video.
