A man paints a wonderful Ukiyoe on a single grain of rice. As his delighted friend pats him on the back, saying, "It's a masterpiece, you can sell it for a million yen.", the painted grain flies away. After passing through various places, the single grain worth one million yen is thrown into a large and growing pile of rice. The two desperately search for it. Many years go by and the two, now elderly men finally find it, but once again, his delighted friend pats him on the back, and the artist drops the grain of rice, which is then eaten by a chicken instantly.
Japan, where rice is a main staple food, does not want even a single discolored or damaged grain of rice to be mixed in with the harvested rice, which requires farmers enormous time to sort out such foreign substances after harvesting. In order to make time for farmers, SATAKE has developed a rice sorting machine that can sort rice at ultra-high speed without overlooking any foreign substances.
