We see an invisible engineer running on an extremely long keyboard. It is a metaphor of dramatic ups and downs in his work. The voice over goes like this - I loved to create. And before long, I was well on my way. My typing found its rhythm. My code worked like a charm. With programming, I felt like I could do anything. But difficulties come without warning. Bugs as elusive as rice make software as unresponsive as rocks. At times, my spirit began to break. And yet, I would go on. I could go on. It is not glorious work; in fact, time forbids it to be. We work in the background. We work to create something new. DEVELOPING THE UNKNOWN.
