The Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics were held without spectators in the Corona crisis. Without the support of the spectators, the athletes would not be able to perform at their best. Therefore, we focused on the various types of cheering calls of countries and regions around the world. By combining these with the power of digital technology, we came up with "Tele Cheering”. NHK, as a public broadcaster, delivered the cheers from all over the world through monitors in stadiums to encourage the competing athletes.
The Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics were held without spectators in the Corona crisis. Without the support of the spectators, the athletes would not be able to perform at their best.
