With the worsening impacts of global warming, the Philippines ranks among the countries most exposed to threats of a disrupted climate. Eight of the 10 most disaster-prone cities are in the Philippines. WWF wanted to shed light on the situation and engage more people to participate in efforts to combat climate change, and let them know that they can make a difference even with simple acts. Simple, graphic posters and print ads were designed to depict how a simple act of leaving the lights on can contribute to the destruction of our forests, coral reefs, and glaciers in the Arctic, leaving its inhabitants threatened or endangered. As a call to action, Filipinos were encouraged to participate in Earth Hour by switching off the lights to help save energy and life on our planet.
