Cultural and Social Context: On Global Hand-washing Day (15th October), the Head of the Health Division of Jakarta, Mr. Koesmedi Priharto, stated that only 30% of people wash their hands after using the toilet. This is partly because of the practice of using water to clean up, which gives people a sense of cleanliness. What's worse is that from the surface, these gadgets seem clean, which all the more makes them lethal for public health. Creating public awareness for cleaning hands after using gadgets had therefore become a necessity.
