Write a short summary of what happens in the film

Our 2 characters Bo the ladybug and Coco the bird, meet in Changi Jewel. Bo is not able to make his wings work and feeling sorry for the little ladybug Coco offers Bo a ride and fly's around the beautiful Changi Jewel. On the way, Bo gets blown off. Coco searches for Bo and catches him at the last second to enjoy the rest of their journey.

3D work was done in Maya and rendered with Vray, comp work was done in Nuke. All character animation was done by hand, we modelled and rigged the characters from scratch. Extra difficulty came from the feathers especially as we get so close to the character, inter-collisions between feathers remained a battle for all shots. The foliage was challenging as there was a lot to add and this would cause scenes to get very heavy. The waterfall also was challenging as no real reference of an untouched waterfall of this size existed, luckily the Singapore rain helped us get some ref before the waterfall was turned on.
