Write a short summary of what happens in the film

8 of the world's biggest names publicly endorse Skinny, New Zealand's smallest telco - not the famous Hollywood celebrities, but ordinary Kiwis who happen to share their famous names. Each person is shot in the style of their namesake, with Michael Jordan (the computer programmer for Auckland) gracing the court in a Nike style commercial, Clint Eastwood (the electrician from Pukekohe) on horseback, and Sarah Jessica Parker (the farrier from Warkworth) in a top end bar. The “actors” mumble their way through a script that talks about how Skinny saves money but not blowing it on expensive celebrity endorsements.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

New Zealand is a small island nation with hardly any celebrities and an acerbic, self-depreciating sense of humour.

Tell the jury about the casting process.

We searched the country for people who had three unique qualities: 1. They had to share their name with a household celebrity. 2. They had to look completely different to their famous namesake. 3. It had to be very clear that they had absolutely no experience on camera.
