Fast, fast, fast, while on the go. The animation shows how fast the efficacy of the HALLS product that gives you a refreshing and decongesting blast in 4-6 seconds. This film was played in loop on outdoor visions at kiosks in Tokyo’s 113 train stations.
This campaign lived on Japan’s train platforms, for anyone who knows Japan’s trains are very frequent and people move through their daily commutes very fast. As a result, we created 4-6 second media bytes that played between train transfers and fast loading and unloading of passengers.
This animation is made of a mix of digital illustration and computer graphics. One artist worked on everything from drawing, animation, sound design to editing, which enabled the work to achieve perfection. The design was intentionally deformed, quirky and rough. The awkward and intense vibe of the animation was eye-catching for the busy commuters, without time to mind the logic. It created a new audience experience breaking through the usual steps of animation production.
