Execution

We changed the format of our tourism flyer to series of tattoo designs. With any smartphone, the tattoos could be scanned that redirected the user to series of videos that contained different stories promoting Thailand.

The Brief

The tattoo flyer attracted international tourism expo attendees. And get them to interact with the tattoo through their mobile phone.

People who attend an international expo. They are potential tourist who look for their next destination.

Results

The Tattoo Flyers gained huge attention at the CITM Shanghai Expo. Phenomenal amount of tattoos were given out during the event, making the Tattoo Flyers a must have item that drew large crowds to Thailand’s booth. With the cost of US $0.25 a piece, tattoo flyers was one of the drivers that contributed to a 42% increase, a highest ever number of Chinese tourists visiting Thailand after the expo With the success of the Tattoo Flyers, Tourism Authority of Thailand has planned on bring it to other international tourism expos around the world.
