Big cities are often cluttered with large billboards and signages and it is difficult to catch the attention of people walking out in the streets. The challenge of this execution was to capture interest and attention of people walking in front of the Crocs store and have them experience the brand.
This set up was executed for one week from May 19 to 25 at Omotesando, a location in Tokyo where a lot of people gather. A digital signage was developed with a system so that when people walk in front of the signage, Crocs sandals in 5 different colors automatically appear at their feet in 3D making it look as if they are trying on the sandals. People can experience trial out in the street without having to go inside the store. The system was designed to attract interest with a mirror effect while simultaneously presenting a surprise with Crocs sandals appearing on their feet.
People who have never been to Crocs stores and have never tried on the shoes.
The event was executed for one week from May 19 to 25 at Omotesando, a location in Tokyo where a lot of people gather. During the event period, there was circulation of 370,000 people and 50,000 people experienced the digital signage.
