The Instant Newspaper Recycler was a human-powered machine that silk-screened old newspapers and turning them into new wrapping paper on the spot. It was placed inside SHK East Point City mall from 25-26th January 2014 as part of their seasonal promotional activities to their consumers. Consumers interacted with it by placing the old newspapers inside, waiting, and then receiving brand-new silkscreen wrapping paper on the spot, amazing them with how fun and easy recycling could be, and also promoting SHK East Point City's environmentally-friendly message at the same time.
