Auckland Council wanted to engage voters with the upcoming local governing body election and encourage them to vote. The campaign talks directly to the idea of if you don’t vote you will have no voice. We created communication’s that show a voter standing proudly in their city, alongside the same person as a non-voter painted to blend into the background with the headline Vote/Don’t. By rendering the non-voter as virtually invisible we visually demonstrated the result of non-participation in local body elections.
