Within just 72 hours, our web traffic increased by 20%, with confirmed bookings going up by 15%. The Getaway Suit became a reminder for corporate professionals to turn to yatra.com to escape from routine, to awesome vacations.
We translated our objective into an idea, with The Getaway Suit- a business suit that could turn into a yatra.com travel bag, just by following a few instructions. To implement this idea, we first searched the yatra.com database for busy corporate professionals, who browsed deals and tickets, came close to booking them and then cancelled. To them we sent out this special suit, to drive home the message that taking a break from corporate life and routine was as easy as turning the suit into The Getaway Suit. A message that would encourage corporate flyers to go ahead and take a vacation, with yatra.com
Our objective was to get more corporate frequent flyers to fly via yatra.com. The insight was that corporate professionals flew mostly for business. And so, to get them to fly more, we had to encourage them to take a break from their routine, and fly for pleasure instead. Positioning yatra.com as their escape from corporate life.
