Our client wanted us to communicate the popping effect that was impactful with a limited budget. Our objective was to enable the product to stand up and out from the crowd with its popping idea. We played up on the word ‘pop’ through its name ‘Peripop', packaging and advertising.
The brief was simple. Our client was a start-up company. They wanted Landor to help bring the popping idea of their product to life.
Our client wanted to use a regular box for its packaging due to limited budget. We developed a smarter solution using an even smaller budget. A flat sheet that is friendly on the pocket, production and environment. We created a structural design to highlight the popping effect of Peripop with impact, enabling it to stand out from the crowd. We further dressed the pack in the habitat of each animal to communicate the fun characteristics of each animal imaginatively. The Peripop animals peek out of their ‘hidey hole’ to say hello. Unwrapping the pack reveals an educational message about the Peripop animal, enriching children with exciting knowledge as they interact with their animal.
4/5 of retailers across USA and China are planning to add this product to their shelves in Q4 2014, a noteworthy leap for a Singaporean manufacturer making its mark on the global map.
