To enable a serious jam maker in getting her products to market in a unique and distinctive way, mixing her love of fruit with her passion for music. To express the discordant mix of ingredients that create the jam's unique flavour and attitude. the largest challenge was creating the wooden carved guitar block to print from. We worked closely with a freelance carpenter to get the desired result we where after.
PLAYING IN THE KITCHEN, RECORDED IN THE JAR To create a unique identity and packaging idea for a local producer of bespoke jams. When our client asked us to help get her preserves to market, we decided to combine her love of music (always at full blast in her cottage kitchen) with her unorthodox jam making skills.
We created this brand from an unusual mix of preserved fruit and a lot of imagination. We found ourselves a guitar body, carved it into a printing block and after some sticky improvisation printed with Jam to make the label design.
It's been flying off the market stall's and the client plans on developing a range of new products, before approaching more serious retailers. In keeping with the theme, she is now planning a live band to accompany the next providers market.
