Brief Explanation

We wanted to give each client something that demonstrated our creativity and hopefully would inspire theirs. The team created a unique alphabet, each letter having its own witty jibe. We wrapped these covers around Moleskins and gave each client their initials. The books were also used by all staff, often admired and consistently opening conversations around creativity.

The Brief

Your Initial Ideas: 26 designers, 1 letter each, a unique and diverse alphabet. A very limited budget forced us to think creatively in our marketing to clients. We wanted to give each and every client something special, albeit low cost, which demonstrated our creativity and allowed theirs to flourish. A way of introducing and reintroducing ourselves. By adorning Moleskins with self-designed covers, the entire team created a unique and diverse alphabet, each letter explained by a witty or humorous jibe on the inside front cover. Each client was given two books with their initials, bound up with the slogan FOR YOUR INITIAL IDEAS and encouraged to think freely and creatively.

How the final design was conceived

Each designer chose a letter to work with and had there chance to express whatever any wanted in the design. They had to bring it to life with a witty, intelligent message that tied everything together.

They have now become our calling card and leave-behind at all pitchesand new business interaction.
