Brief Explanation

It’s easy to let consumers experience “joy in a box” when they’re in our branches, what with our customer service and delicious doughnuts. The challenge is to deliver that messaging to those who are not inside our branches and not presently tasting our product.

The Brief

Krispy Kreme wants to spread its philosophy of “joy in a box” to as many boxes as possible, especially to those who can’t make it to the stores.

How the final design was conceived

The design is rooted on the brand’s own doughnut flavors and established branding identity. Our additional touches include joyful settings wherein our customers would love to be in and enjoy a doughnut or two.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

With no paid media push and only one touchpoint release (Krispy Kreme Facebook page), the desktop icons garnered 45 shares and 834 likes in 24 hours. Without us prompting, fans sent us screenshots of their newly spruced up desktops, a sweet token of gratitude for the joy we brought to them.
