Brief Explanation

At its heart, Creative Transformation is about applying creativity to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. We collaborated with paper architect Matt Shlian to bring this idea to life.

The Brief

We were commissioned by one of Hong Kong’s leading developers, Swire Properties, to express their brand positioning – Creative Transformation – within their office environment.

How the final design was conceived

With precise, geometric folds, he transforms ordinary paper into extraordinary three-dimensional sculptures. We took inspiration from the unique topography of Hong Kong, creating an installation whose paper stalagmites evoke the towering skyscrapers and mountainous landscape amongst which Swire Properties’ developments nestle.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

This unique installation now holds pride of place in the Hong Kong headquarters of Swire Properties, offering a striking visual metaphor for the process of Creative Transformation, and inspiring staff in their commitment to transform spaces, places and communities through creativity.
