The Brief

Cormorant Group is a newly established brand and communications consultancy. The brief was to create a CI and related applications that project stability and worth as it illustrates the company's strategic approach.

How the final design was conceived

The CI and its applications were inspired by the cormorant's hunting story. The namesake bird's hunting technique diving deep to catch a specific fish without distraction – is a metaphor for the value Cormorant Group delivers: capturing the insights and ideas its clients are looking for. The iconic logo represents the bird's powerful beak. It also express a cormorant standing tall or two cormorants leaning against each other. The blue gradient symbolizes the water where cormorants search for just the right fish. Cormorant Group's connection to creativity is reinforced by the interpretive design.
