Cormorant Group's identity plays a critical role in helping this new consultancy establish credibility and confidence with its clients, partners and staff.
Cormorant Group is a newly established brand and communications consultancy. The brief was to create a CI and related applications that project stability and worth as it illustrates the company's strategic approach.
The CI and its applications were inspired by the cormorant's hunting story. The namesake bird's hunting technique diving deep to catch a specific fish without distraction is a metaphor for the value Cormorant Group delivers: capturing the insights and ideas its clients are looking for. The iconic logo represents the bird's powerful beak. It also express a cormorant standing tall or two cormorants leaning against each other. The blue gradient symbolizes the water where cormorants search for just the right fish. Cormorant Group's connection to creativity is reinforced by the interpretive design.
The design's thoughtfulness and stylish elegance has sparked many number of conversations where the company is invited to share its story.
