IDEA: To create a sense of unity among the event site, we kept every design aspect regarding the event strictly consistent – from advertisements, venue decor, official goods and even the medals.

“TABLE” is where people gather. The copy “JAPAN TABLE” suggests a new perspective to see the World Championships as a “table” that brings the world together and simply have a good time during their stay. The logo design is a single table tennis ball placed right in the center of the Japanese flag that is made to look like a table. This is the visualization of “JAPAN TABLE”. Using the design inspired by the logo, we kept the entire art direction consistent for every event-related item, from staff IDs to guest give-aways.
