Results and Effectiveness

As a leading brand with a clear promise, Hexos has given their voice back to every Indonesian that had one. It was time to go beyond. Voice for All was introduced at Intercontinental Hotel, Jakarta. Thanks to institutions like Sehjira Foundation that collaborated during the development, we’ll be able to help thousands of people. The launch is recent, but people have started talking online already. With the video as tools now, the pr campaign will go bigger. Hexos is going a step farther, always working under its very same essence: giving a voice to those who needed one.

Creative Execution

The question was as naive as powerful: we’d been bringing the voice back for thousands of people every year but, what if you didn't have a voice to start with? The rest was ‘simple’. Teams from two countries collaborating, months of research and countless tests to bring it to life. Voice for All. A system that captures physical gestures through motion sensing technology and translates them into auditory experiences. The sign language from speech impaired people was converted into sound, and became a voice. Their own voice, for the first time in their lives. A new powerful idea, using a new media to connect with a wider audience, while establishing a much deeper connection.

Insights, Strategy and the Idea

Hexos are mints. Mints that have been helping people talk for years. The claim was always simple: if you lost your voice, we’ll bring it back. After 20 years, we thought it was about time to go farther. Our challenge: separate ourselves from other mints, connecting at a deeper level. Being ‘just’ a mint candy, we were trying to find an avenue to make our brand feel bigger.
