The Brief

Every Year Leo Burnett Group Thailand always sending gift and warm wishes to our clients. This year, we wanted to present our clients with a gift that pointed out that happiness is not about personal joy but about the joy you cultivate in others.

Creative Execution

This creative process was healing as the foundation's leading psychologist noted that to foster these children's creativity helped encourage them and made them deeply happy. Most importantly, this project did not just create happiness to the kids but also the Leo Burnett staffs and the clients. We believe that this is the best gift for everyone.

Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective.

We allocated half of the gift budget we usually spent every year and visited Bann Nontapum, a home for children with disabilities. 54 employees of Leo Burnett Thailand helped the children painted 500 plain white boxes that would become the custom-made personalized gifts we gave to our clients. We then sent a unique e-card to clients telling them about our visit to Bann Nontapum and giving them the opportunity to choose their own set of gifts and a uniquely designed box the children created. Each box also covered with warm wishes and told a story about the child who created it. We expected 70% of the clients responses in choosing their own set of gifts from the e-card.

Results

89% of our clients selected their custom-made boxes using out e-card. With this one small box it creates happiness for the kids, the visiting Leo Burnett guests, and the clients who ultimately received the boxes. Also we showed our clients that happiness is not just a physical gift, but it's an act that brings out the good in everyone.
