Mahindra Lifespaces role in promising sustainable urbanisation has already been recognised and awarded by various industry business associations like IGBC etc. The desktop calendar was appreciated by customers, the media and the industry as a credible effort to make everyone aware about the importance of sustainable urbanisation.

The Brief

Mahindra Lifespaces, is a leading Real Estate Developer in India. Its mission is to create sustainable communities. Sustainable urbanisation is critical for the future of mankind. But most people generally do not understand what it means. What better way to explain the concept of sustainable urbanisation and its importance to humankind than through a desktop calendar.

How the final design was conceived

The challenge was to explain this complex issue in a simple and memorable way. Using the distinctive paper-art illustration style combined with pithy copy, leaf after leaf describes sustainable urbanisation and highlights its importance to mankind and society at large. We focused on four important dimensions of sustainability namely Environment management, Resource management, Water management, Waste management.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The task was to create a desktop calendar that highlights its philosophy of transforming urban landscapes by creating sustainable communities.
