Background: Tempo Icy Menthol is a new, menthol-scented facial tissue. Its refreshing scent can give people an instant lift. The tissue market in Hong Kong is saturated with competitors offering similar products. The challenge was to launch Icy Menthol with maximum impact on a minimal media budget. A series of “Power Up” videos featuring interesting characters was created to demonstrate how “Powered Up” they felt after using Icy Menthol. The campaign aimed to depict the entire city, including humans and even inanimate objects, as being Powered Up! Results: Sales of Tempo Icy Menthol increased rapidly. Facebook fans of Tempo doubled.
