The Year of the Dragon To celebrate the launch of AirAsia’s 100th passenger plane we created a monster 70-metre illustration to wrap around it. With its mouth right over the engines it roared into life, becoming the boldest, baddest plane in the skies and making sure that 2012 is definitely The Year of the Dragon! To create enough impact in the air, the traditional Chinese dragon was created in graphic black and white, with a roaring red mouth.
