To differentiate True Blood from the plethora of teen vampire shows, we positioned it as ‘Vampires for grown ups’. We brought this to life on a billboard by driving a metre long stake through the heart of one of the lead characters. The stake then protruded right out the other side into an ad for a (courageous) local underwear brand – creating a large unmistakable bulge in a very inappropriate place.
