Tesco, being the largest food retailer in the UK, wanted to inspire their customers with a site full of recipes, videos and food news. The idea was to connect this content with clever features such as a Meal Planner, following friends’ cooking habits and comments and lastly, adding an e-commerce function that offered all necessary products in one place. Phenomenal traffic growth to over 700,000 page views per month resulted in a strong lift to Tesco’s brand perceived passion and authority with regards to food. The site's KPI's were exceeded by 50%
