YOU On Demand is the first national Pay-Per-View and Video On Demand channel in China. As a completely new service and unknown brand, these promotional materials had to instantly inform and educate Chinese consumers around the benefits of On-Demand services.
To create a poster campaign to drive awareness for the first ever pay-per-view TV network in China that delivers Hollywood content, while instantly communicating the new benefits of On-demand at home.
We commissioned Dan Stiles to illustrate teaser posters in the same graphic style as the new YOU On Demand logo. These posters instantly depict the simple joy of watching Hollywood movies from the comfort of your home, and encourages users to learn more about the new service.
YOU On Demand launched in 3 million homes last winter. It plans to be in 11 million homes by the end of the year, which would make its customer base the size of Time Warner Cable. As the first national video on demand and pay per view platform in China, that’s a pretty good start.
