With countless cards arriving at our client’s desk, we needed to ensure that ours stood out and was memorable, within a limited production run and budget.
The brief was to create a less generic Christmas card for our key clients that said more about who we are and what they mean to us. It needed to be personal yet relevant. Our Christmas card had to reinforce to our clients that they made the right choice by being our partner.
We looked through the best Christmas cards out there but realized something was always missing. There were clever ones, funny ones, beautiful ones, but nothing reflected us quite like the card that was sitting on our desks – our business cards. Christmas is all about making the people who matter feel welcome and special so that’s exactly what we did. By making our clients ‘Honorary Staff’, we also offered to them the many benefits that come with being a part of our team – our resources, expertise, and discounts at the bars downstairs.
Better yet, we’ll show you what our client said. “Thank you for the little Christmas gift of namecards… which I found absolutely clever and I have to say, it’s a hallmark of creative brilliance! Yes I know this comes with exercising creative paradigm to the nth degree when we clients don’t interfere at all… (tongue-in-cheek) Ha ha. The next time we do a TVC I shall try to bear that in mind…. (as long as you increase branding by 50%, increase my RTB shot by another 10s, enlarge by pack shot by 100% ETC ETC ETC) Happy New Year all!”
