Brief Explanation

The Task was to demonstrate the seamless merger of two financial giants, LIC of India and Nomura of Japan in India. The Music plays an integral part to communicate this 'seamlessness'. The Santoor (a traditional Indian string instrument) is used in the background playing a Japanese tune. On top, a classical Indian Raga (one of the Melodic Modes in indian classical music) is played and sung to in a very Japanese style. Visually this is done by showing the people of Japan and India embracing the little things in each other’s culture that brings joy, thereby creating a feeling of comfort and trustworthiness. We integrated similar cultural forms and nuances from both the nations with a surprise element in each scenario; like the Japanese Noh dancer in an Indian Kathakali performance, the Samurai in a traditional Indian Rajasthani sword-fight, and an exquisite Rangoli being created by elegant kimono-clad Japanese women. A complex audio-visual fusion of India and Japan, and the result is effortlessly seamless. Communicating the same sentiment of seamlessness about the successful merger between Nomura and LIC of India.
