The communication had to be colourful and go with the ambience of the store’s toy section.
The Tangram is a dissection puzzle consisting of seven flat shapes, called tans, which can be put together to form shapes. The client wanted to send a message to parents that the puzzle is not only fun, but stimulation to the brain, too. The communication also had to be colourful and go with the ambience of the store’s toy section.
We created a poster campaign that innovatively used the Tangram puzzle to demonstrate that it is intellectually stimulating, as well as fun. We used all the seven shapes to create the letters in the headline of the posters, strictly adhering to Tangram's rules.
It quickly grabbed the eyeballs of children as well as parents and created a lot of buzz for the Tangram puzzle. It also got into One Show Design, 2011.
