Each year around 100,000 children are admitted to Starship, New Zealand’s largest children’s hospital. The Starship Foundation is a charity that raises money for the hospital by providing life saving medical equipment as well as care and support for patients and their families. We were asked to produce a campaign to raise awareness and donations for their annual appeal. As any parent knows, having a sick child is one of the hardest things you can ever face. Based on this insight we created a commercial that conveys the emotion a parent feels when their child is sick.
