Radio is chosen because with this medium, everyone is blind. By reading out a travel journal of different places in the eyes of the main character, we show that no matter how big the world is, it just looks the same for people who can’t see, which in turn, shows the importance of sight. So radio has been used in its most effective way.
ORBIS is a non-profit organization which helps to prevent and treat avoidable blindness in developing countries. Our advertising mission is to raise public awareness. We want to show the audience that the world in the eyes of blind people is very different from the one in our eyes, which leads the audiences to re-think how important sight is, and that nothing can be substituted for sight.
