To reclaim that role, to put inspiration back in the hands of the target market, and to drive traffic and contacts, we created The Random Camera Project. Recipients were given old-school disposable cameras to shoot anything. The cameras were collected in and randomly exchanges. Recipients were then given the chance to see through someone else's eyes with someone else's photos. All images were uploaded to the wev for everyone to browse. Good old random inspiration from Getty Images.
Task: Engage the creative target market to keep Getty Images top of mind, in order to generate leads and sales. Idea: In the days of flicking through stock image books, Getty Images was not just as supplier of stock mediam but a source of random inspiration.
