Rubber stamp makers come a dime a dozen. There is little effort spent on standing out from competitors. Many stamp makers believe their product is no different from the next stamp maker, leading to the status quo. Hence with such a homogeneous product, there was a need to create an image for the client, one that stands out and creates an impact.

How the final design was conceived

We went back to the basics and to the core of the business and product. In its simplest form, the rubber stamp inspired the idea. The business card was created in the same fashion as a rubber stamp, from the material to the tactile feel. The idea was true to the function of the rubber stamp and it represented exactly what rubber stamp makers do best.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The business card was an instant ice-breaker in business engagements and provided new business opportunities, resulting in a 20% increase in revenue.
