Brief Explanation

The Delhi Airport was going through a total revamp (a new building) for which they needed environment graphics support. The idea was to give the passengers (both incoming and outgoing) get a good feel about New Delhi. A brand new airport for New Delhi. The challenge was to make the airport, the experience at the airport and New Delhi, memorable for the passengers. Something that the people of Delhi could feel proud of and the visitors carry a fond memory of.

The Brief

Make the new Delhi airport experience memorable for passengers.

How the final design was conceived

The purpose was to make the new Delhi Airport experience, memorable. Over the years, Delhi has evolved from being Indraprastha, to Hastinapur, to Dilli, to New Delhi; and it’s not just the name that’s changed. New Delhi today, is a fabulous city that gets its charm from different cultures, traditions, structures and lifestyles that fuse into its streets everyday. You can expect something new on every visit. We thought, the perfect way to bring alive this everchanging spirit at the Delhi airport would be kaleidoscopic patterns of food, festivals, monuments etc. Hence, capturing the essence of a New Delhi everyday.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

People(passengers) noticed and talked about the concept 'A New Delhi Everyday'. The passengers love to get photographs taken against them. The project was covered by newspapers and magazines.
