Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore approached Song Zu to compose a piece of music for a viral spot for their new breakthrough Aino and Satio phones. The spot featured hundreds of people on space hoppers bouncing through the streets of Barcelona. It's directed by LA based director, Tony Petrossian through Play Films in Singapore. The brief was for a quirky but strong organic rhythmic track reflecting the natural sounds the hoppers would make, incorporating an anthemic rallying call to action. Song Zu's creative director and multi-awarded composer/producer, Ramesh Sathiah, was charged with the task of pulling together musical options for consideration, distributing the brief to the Song Zu group composers in Singapore, Australia and the US.. 6 tracks in total were presented to the agency and client, with the chosen track actually written by Ramesh himself. The lead vocals were sung by a popular Singapore based Colombian duo with a large group of singers drafted in for backing vocal duties. Horn sections and strings were provided by the cream of Sydney's classical and jazz musicians and recorded in Song Zu's state of the art studios in Sydney, before being beamed to Singapore for final mixing. .
