The Peninsula Hotels new property in Shanghai was their proud return to the location they originated from nearly 1/2 a century ago. Opening the new property was something that Peninsula wanted to really celebrate. So while traditional advertising took care of awareness, we wanted to harness the power of digital for a one day splash, bring their audience and brand together like never before. Launching a one-day campaign on Yahoo! HK and tying it into Facebook was a great vehicle...and the participation surprised even us!
