While Michelin tyres have the benefit of saving fuel costs, consumers did not associate tyres with fuel economy. So to make consumers re-evaluate how they look at tyres, linking them to fuel economy, we created banners that provided absurd “fake tips” on how to save fuel costs. These were engaging short animations that showed some extreme measure how to cut costs or the alternative – to switch to Michelin’s Green-X marked tyres. A smarter way to save fuel.
