We needed a way to talk about the new 100% electric eGolf in a way that stood out in a sea of “warm-fuzzy” EV advertising. So, we focused on our drivers, who were likely to be making the move to EVs for the sake of their children. Children who, if we’re honest, don’t really deserve it.
Algebra Mum MVO: You made her breakfast. You packed her schoolbag, and did her laundry. Then, you drove to work, late. You spent four hours in front of a spreadsheet, an hour re-learning algebra for lunch, followed by more spreadsheet… For dinner, you made her favourite meal – which you can’t eat because it gives you gas, then did the dishes, while she watched TV. And at 10PM, when you ventured that, ‘maybe it was a bit late’ for her friends to come round, she said: ‘Well… maybe it’s a bit late for you to be a good mother. Also, wax your moustache. It’s gross.’ (Pause) There’s a lot they don’t deserve. But, you should look after their future anyway. Drive the new 100% electric eGolf from Volkswagen.
