We wanted the audience to be aware that the Gillette Blue II razor has a flexible head & that it was not only safe, but also a lot of fun to use.
We wanted someone less obvious for our hero guy, a typical underdog; which would have made a nicer payoff at the end. The girl had to be somewhat attractive but also crazy enough to act out in disgust as well as dance quirkily. All other casts needed to have certain distinctive characters about them to represent the male audience the product is targeted to & also be willing to dance to our weird choreography.
