Write a short summary of what happens in the film.

"Condom battle" is a battle that fights with the knowledge of condoms and the correct usage. This animation depicts Goro, who becomes a condom battler guided by his destiny, and overcoming various difficulties while working together with his friends. Episode 1 is when Goro finds the legendary condom and becomes a condom battler. Episode 19 is taking the Condom Pro License exam. In episode 45, Goro participates in the Condom Championship Tournament. And episode 56, Goro fights against the final boss. Each episode is produced in a digest format.

Cultural / Context information for the jury

In Japan, there is still a tendency for topics related to sexuality to be viewed as taboo, and the current situation is that "sex education" is not being conducted satisfactorily. For that reason, they cannot be seen or shared in the usual way, so we decided to share the information by using drastic animation, story, and character setting. In addition, there is a culture of puns in Japan, and young people often use puns because of embarrassment when talking about sexuality, and this work also uses it. *56 is pun and is also read as, "GOMU" = which is a popular name for condoms in Japan. *56 is pun and is also read as "GORO", and the name of the main character is taken from here. *Aside from this, 19 =" IKU "= means "ECSTACY". 45 =" SHIKO "= means "MASTERBATION".

Tell the jury about the animation used and summarise any relevant challenges or techniques.

Due to budget restrictions, if we made it into a modern animation, it was likely to be inferior to different animation works, so we dared to make it with the Japanese taste a little old (early 1990s). We made it so that it remains in people's minds. In addition, although it is a short video with a good tempo that is easy to watch, it was produced in a digest format that condenses the highlights so that you can feel the magnificent background of the film.
