Health certificate is one of the necessary document for the youths when they get a job. Our idea starts with the envelope in which the youth put their certificate. We printed two copies of the labor contract and made them as an envelope neatly detachable. Eventually, the labor contract can be delivered without realizing it.
The only legal tool to protect youth labor rights is labor contract. However, most of teenagers work without the contract because they walk on eggshells around their employer who would possibly be unhappy about the contract. So, we think of an easy way to help teenagers can demand to write the labor contract without an effort to read employer’s face.
Labor contract is the only legal safeguard to protect them from all kinds of unfair treatment. But 60% of the youth employees couldn’t sign the labor contract. Health certificate is one of the necessary document for the youths when they get a job. So Our idea starts with the envelope in which the youth put their certificate. Two copies of the standard labor contract are printed on the envelop with some phrases informing the duty of signing labor contract. Documents are neatly detachable with the perforated line so employer and youth employee can have one for each.
39.7% of these young workers are being suffered from raw deals such as abusive language at the workplace or default on the wage. But, 60% of the youth employees couldn’t sign the labor contract. So we printed two copies of the standard labor contract on the envelope in which the youth put their certificate and 30 thousand of Labor Contract Large Envelope had been distributed to 200 of the public health centers.

Documents are neatly detachable with the perforated line so employer and youth employee can have one for each. 30 thousand of Labor Contract Large Envelope had been distributed to 200 of the public health centers and the youth institutions in Incheon and became widely known by the press.
30,000 copies of envelopes had been distributed to the public health centers and more than 200 youth institutions in Incheon and the campaign had spread out by the media. As a result, labor contract rate in the area where the envelopes were distributed increased by 6.3% and it was successful to support protecting youths’ working rights.
