Vietnam being the motorbike country, there was no awareness about Drive-Thru. This was the biggest challenge for McDonalds when they launched their first Drive-Thru. Hence, we came up with an event to create maximum involvement with our Vietnamese target audience (scooter riders), break the drive-thru world record and give everyone a fantastic day of fun and excitement. We not only succeeded in involving consumers but also surpassed all campaign objectives. We smashed the world record five times over, we increased awareness of Drive-Thru by 956% and our Vietnamese audience had one of the best days in their lives with celebrities, rock stars, stuntmen, acrobats, even a circus.
